Kitscotty 1st annual Fall Camps.
Sept 6 – 8th, 2019
Thanks to Mr. Ash Thibault for arranging our first ever Kitscoty Hockey weekend last Sept 6 to 8th. 20 local Kitscoty kids participated in a grueling weekend (especially for the coaches) with over 20 hours of instruction over 2.5 days. Next year we will reduce spread that over 4 days.
During that time we had fun while attending 3 clinics:
- Checking Clinic
- Defense Clinic
- Face off Clinic
Checking Clinic: Starts off ice.
4 hours of off ice training allows for softer landings and reduced costs.
4 hours of on ice training with the real deal.
Defence Clinic: Starts off ice!
I am sure that this group of kids laid a few lickings on their opponents this season.
Our Checking and Defence Clinics are very hands on and physically challenging just like the game we love. Be prepared to sleep well that night and injuries are possible.
